This coming from a conservative intellectual think tank. Its a write-up bashing the professors and thinkers established in premier universities who tend to share a more interventionist and socialist viewpoint.
What better way to discredit someone's viewpoint but by discrediting the person holding it. While it is difficult to agree with the premise but it does seem that there is a tendency amongst the intellectuals to get absorbed in highly abstract problems which doesnt seem to have any practical significance.
Ah well, that is an old debate!
