Coordinating Big Brothers? or really the same thing

I recently updated my e-mail alerts to two major Physics publication. Within two days, I got an e-mail from a reputed Chemistry journal (where I had signed up before) to update the preferences too.

Doesnt look like a coincidence. More of a cooperation, or maybe its the same organization.

Linguistic coincidences?

Quechua is a native american language of South Americas, while Malayalam is of a southern region in India.

Quechua word for infant is wawa and malayalam is the same
Q word for cat is michi and malayalam is poocha.

Heidi Kali

Heidi Klum chose the goddes Kali as her costume for Halloween this year (images here). I was impressed by the choice until I read this line on the news item.

Klum, who was in India last year along with Seal, told reporters at her annual bash that the idea of dressing up like goddess Kali was that of her secretary.

"My husband and I were in India last year, so she said, 'Why don't you do an Indian goddess? Like a scary Indian goddess?' And I said, 'Ok'," Klum was quoted saying.
