One shouldnt be too right, ever or be right most of the times. That can make a guy extremely unpopular. And same it is with being too succesful. Now ofcourse you become popular but you also lose the ability to make genuine friendship. People tend to view you as either haughty or too good. And then they will not approach you and you will not meet them as they really are.
Also if you become too right most of the time, then expectation builds up on you mostly by yourself to be right each time. Then slowly you begin to crack under pressure and begin to make mistake and then people begin to laugh at you and now you are even in a worse situation cos you are making mistakes in public with people watching you.
Someone said that to be happy just be mediocre in what you do. ;-). Obviously this is a philosophy which is easy to adopt if you are mediocre but if you are not (or if you think you are not) then this is the most difficult thing in the world to do.
So you sigh and say that you agree to bear the burden that being succesful or being right brings cos a guy has to do what he has to do.
I read a nice blog about being nice. And I wished that it were not so pessimistic. And that is why life evolved on earth!
