Cricket is a game like no other. A game invented by the fair play minded british but hijacked by the mobs of mumbai. It was a gentleman's game but now it is a game which makes one into a gentleman.
A metaphor for life. It builds character, team spirit and stamina. It doesnt require much physical prowess but lots of skill and hand-eye coordination. But the most amazing thing about this game is that it is one of the few games where it is looked as uncool to cheat. In games like soccer,basketball where the level of competition is more intense, you have to be a little cheeky and do some fouls.
Cricket is mostly about temperament too. A game where you are as good as your last ball. Because if as a batsman, you make one mistake you are out.
Cricket is a game of glorious uncertainties and so is Life.
